Our Story

Oilfield Fishing Solutions is a Utah Limited Liability Company created to own, hold, and operate certain intellectual property and patents related to the oilfield, and to engage in any necessary activity with respect to the same. OFS started as the brainchild of two former Schulmberger wireline field engineers. In the oilfields of Texas and the Saudi desert, we saw that there was a huge need for an insurance solution for workover and corrosion applications. The wells were sticky and required a lot of maintenance and wireline tools were continually getting stuck, lost, or destroyed To solve that problem, these two former wireline engineers put their heads together, and developed “The Fishuk®”.

Our goal is to license the Fishuk® technologies to an established global oilfield tool development company that can expedite the Fishuk® to the global market. Our vision is not just to have one wireline company use the Fishuk® but to make it available to every wireline company, and ultimately have it be run on every wireline job globally.
